These paintings represent my continued interest and love for the music of the French Classical Composer of religious music, Olivier Messiaen. The "Celestial City" paintings are inspired by Messiaen's symphony of the same name. They are an outgrowth of the visual languge I have developed while exploring Messiaen's music and the aesthetic of minimalism.
